Formed in the summer of 2024, Leaving Jericho is a progressive rock band formed by Bryan Nord and Tom Kraus. The two artists met during a reunion show for the band Iluvatar, of which Tom was an original member and song writer. Bryan, having already released an album and two singles in electonic music, was working on a solo prog rock album at the time. Soon after the show, Bryan sent Tom a number of his works in progress. Tom also sent back some new material he was working on. It didn’t take long for both musicians to see an opportunity to begin a music project together.
Over the next 18 months Tom and Bryan colaborated on each other’s ideas. Sending audio files back and forth, and each developing their parts, Bryan on piano/keyboards and Tom on vocals and guitar/bass guitar, they developed arrangements for 8 new tracks. It was a balanced effort with four songs written by Bryan and four by Tom. With those eight songs totaling over fifty minutes of music it was time to polish, mix and master the final tracks.
The final product of the now formalized band Finding Jericho, is their debut album Tear It All Down which is also the name of the album’s feature track. The scheduled release date is October 10, 2025. It will be available on all streaming platforms and their BandCamp page for purchase.
